FEATHER WINGS MURAL

Our first project this year is inspired by the famous street artist KELSIE MONTAGUE.

KELSIE´s murals are awesome and interactive; you can be part of the Art piece.

Evey student in Primary is making a feather to contribute on this colaborative mural.

We are painting it using a value gradient of tints, blengding colors with white and black.

Finally we are decotating it with a very soft  white pencil using the ZENTANGLE ART drawing style.

Zentangle is a meditative art; it will improve your concentration, relaxation and fine motor skills.

MAKING WATECOLORS WITH NATURAL PIGMENTS

Hi , artists!!
Let´s experiment and create our DIY watercolors out of natural pigments like coffee, turmeric(cúrcuma) or paprika(pimentón). 

INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Watch this video to learn how to make your natural watercolors.

2. Get a thick paper like white cardboard or just try to glue a few papers one on top of the other and leave them to dry under a heavy book.
3 .Use a paintbrush, earcleaner or just your fingers to paint with
4. Watch some videos to get inspiration (any video is ok)
5. Leave your painting to dry (24h) under something flat and heavy like a big book and  then send me a photo using classroom.

Making bracelets

Let´s make some nice bracelets!!

1. You can use any material: kitchen rope(hilo o cuerda de cocina),cord, string, wool, plastic cord...
2. Get the BEADS(abalorios) from an old necklace or bracelet.
3. Attach the cord using something like a pencil, stick(palo de madera), cardboard or a safety pin (imperdible)
4. Choose the difficulty level
5. SEND ME A PHOTO of your beautiful bracelet using Classroom.

Stop motion studio in Arts

The year 5 students became directors of their own stop motion films. They cooperated in groups to create the storyboards, movie sets, dialogues, characters...They were really into it and  loved it!!!
